When Practique is used for large OSCE exams (70+ simultaneous examiners) there may be situation when Practique Server is overloaded with the traffic generated by the activity of Examiners. When Practique Server is overloaded Practique for iPad application is significantly impacted during startup, synchronisation and login due to the long delay it takes for Practique Server to respond to the application requests, please see KI-PRAC-IOS-7103224203  for more details.

Practique Server will still be responding to the devices and it will be possible to access is and perform operations such as viewing sessions or start stop sessions however this will be significantly slower then normally.

This section describes known issues of the Practique application which were either known by the time respective version has been released or has been reported by the QA team or customers hitting issues during live scenarios. Each of the know issues is documented here with corresponding version numbers it is affecting.

Written - Question content may disappear, get obscured or is presented incomplete to the Candidate

2nd August 2017, >= 5.0.0 / to be fixed

When an examiner does not have a candidate to mark in a round that round number is not shown in the schedule - it should be shown with the label "Bypass".

This will be fixed for the next release.

There is no workaround, the examiners need to be made aware that a break in the round sequence, e.g. they have a schedule with rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, is because round 3 is a bypass.

KI-PRAC-IOS-11: OSCE - The "red bar" on the exam list to warn that some marksheets have not received by the backend will be triggered by a candidate who was marked as "Did not attend"

13th Dec 2018, >= 6.1.0 / to be fixed

Where a student is marked as "Did not attend" the app does not take this into account when checking if all marksheets have been submitted and confirmed. This will cause the session name to appear with a red background as if the backend is still waiting for a marksheet.

This will be fixed for the next release.

There is no workaround, marshals should be aware that when a candidate is marked as "Did not attend" the app will think their marksheet is missing. The backend needs to be checked to be certain that all marksheets have been received.there is larger number of questions in Written exam (regardless of the question types used) it may happen that some students may experience problems after using the application for longer period of time. This is especially valid for older devices such as iPad Mini 1G and similar which have limited hardware. Students may be presented with the question stem which presented as only one line while there should be more content displayed. It has also been observed that the number of questions are not presented to the student. This issue does not influence data collection or synchronisation which works as expected and is not affected.

Workaround for the issue is for a student to logout and login again and continue with the exam.

Fixed Known Issues

KI-PRAC-IOS-10: OSCE - Marksheet is blank and without resources

2nd Oct 2018, All app versions / to be fixed< 6.1.0 / not reported since 6.1.0

After selecting a candidate the marksheet screen appears but without any questions or resources. The submit button is blank.This issue is currently under investigation

We have not been able to reproduce this issue, but a number of changes related to exam syncing appear to have resolved it.

For app version 6.0 and greater, the workaround is to reset the exam data in the app. To do this, select "Administrator settings" under the application information menu - the in the bottom right-hand corner of the start screen. You may need to scroll down to see it. The password is the iPad admin password that you should have received when you first got your enrollment details. Please contact the Service Desk if you don't have this password. If there are no "Pending Messages" please select "Reset exam data". This will force the app to clear out the old local data storage and re-build itself from the backend. The app should work then.

For older app versions restarting the device, not just the Practique app, should clear the issue. If not, the app should be removed and re-installed.

KI-PRAC-IOS-9: Written - Question content may disappear, get obscured or is presented incomplete to the Candidate

KI-PRAC-IOS-8: OSCE - Text feedback fields on the marksheet disappear or are obscured when rotating device

17th July 2017, >= 5< 6.0.0 / to be fixednot reported since 6.0.0

When examiners are typing their feedback into one of the text fields on the marksheet there is a presentation issue when examiners rotate the device while keyboard is presented on screen. In this situation problems with presentation of the text fields may occur and when Examiners try to tap & type to the text field it may be obscured or presented in wrong location.

Workaround for this issue is to go back to the Candidate list screen and back to the marksheet.

KI-PRAC-IOS-12: OSCE - Bypass rounds are not shown in the Examiner schedule
