Available from version - 8.5

Feature release date: 09/05/2022

Summary of New Feature/Improvement

Practique integrates with ProctorExam to cut down administration time and provide a seamless experience when creating a Proctored Exam. The Exam is created in Practique as normal, the integration then takes the information and creates the Exam in your organisations instance of ProctorExam.

This eliminates the need to manually input the details of the Exam in the ProctorExam interface. The Exam is instantly available to view in ProctorExam the moment the Candidates phase of Exam setup in Practique has been locked, preventing further changes. From the ProctorExam interface you are then able to email all candidates sitting the Exam. The status of the candidates is reflected in the Practique interface.

Set Up Guide

How-to guide for SETTING UP New Feature/Improvement (with images where necessary) - relevant guide for each set up use case (ie. if more than stakeholder (admin/examiner/candidate/role player) has to engage with a set-up phase then these should be documented accordingly)

Firstly, set up your Exam as normal:

Once this is done, click on Edit Exam Details to set up the Proctor service

Setup Time is the amount of time before an Exam begins for all the required activities to be completed by the candidates and Proctors. These activities could include ID checks, desk space checks, device checks, dealing with any issues, etc. Though Setup time is initially set up in Exam Details, this can be overridden on a per session basis in Session Management.

When using a Proctored Service a Start Time must be defined. A warning message will display and you will not be able to proceed without entering this information. The 'Show Me' link will direct you to where information is missing.

It is in this Edit Session screen where individual Session Setup times can be input. Enter a Setup time [minutes] and Last start time as desired here and click Save. If not used then the Setup Time input in the Exam Details screen will be used.

The Exam will now be able to be viewed in the ProctorExam interface as an Open Exam.

In the View Sessions screen for the Exam click View then View Proctoring. This screen gives an overview of the Candidates as seen in ProctorExam. When an action is performed in ProctorExam such as sending emails to candidates, the status for the Candidates will change in the Proctoring Overview Screen in Practique.

The Exam is now ready to be published to devices.
