New Features

• Exam Control (requires Practique 8.1)

  • Remotely start, stop and pause an exam. You can do this for the whole exam, a group of candidates or individual candidates

  • Automatically select the exam and provide the pin

• Exam Timing/Schedule (requires Practique 8.1)

  • Allows the duration of an exam to be set on an individual and group level

  • Exam auto stops when the time is expired

  • Remote updates of the exam schedule (i.e allocating extra time)

  • Custom messages - currently this can only be used for messages related to ‘x’ minutes to go in the exam. (We are awaiting a future practique server update for fully custom message to be supported in P4B)

  • Exam duration can be changed mid exam

  • Set the timings of each phase of the exam (reading time etc) and scheduled messages

  • Elapsed time for responses

  • Read only mode - in the exam schedule you can now allocate time for reading

• DiCOM

  • Added linear measuring tool

  • Added area measuring tools - (rectangle and eclipse tools)

  • Added area, mean and standard deviation intensity measurements

  • Image smoothing has been disabled

  • DiCOM sequences are now displayed using spacial sorting so it does not matter what order they are uploaded into the ZIP file in

• Students can now eliminate options in SBA question. You can have this enabled or disabled

Improvements

• Error messaging

  • Login issues - you will now see an error message to explain why the error has occurred. translation is supported.

  • Access to the logical database - An error is now displayed if you runs out of space writing to the local database

• Accessibility

  • We have improved support for input navigation using a keyboard

• Images/Resources

  • JPEG 2k is now supported as an image type

  • You can now display images in a grid view to display more than one image at once. This currently supports 1x1 and 2x2 grids

  • Resource locking feature can now be disabled

  • HDI high density displays are now supported

• Exam Management

  • Room, round and circuit now display in the title bar

  • Support for showing rest stations and missing candidates - you will now get a station without a mark sheet.

  • The ‘begin’ page has been removed

  • Mute is now supported

  • Meetings are now closed as soon as all the attendees have click the disconnect button.  Previously the meeting remained open for 5 mins.

  • Disabled ability for candidates to download video resources

  • Push changes to exam lists after candidates have logged in - previously they would need to reload the page

  • Login fields now have trim support - previously if there was an accidental space in the login or pin (e.g caused by copy and pasting) P4B now trims out spaces to ensure successful login

  • A modal dialogue appears during clean up at the end of the session to advise not to close browser until clean up is complete

  • Changing background colours is now available during the exam

  • Improved progress reporting now shows a % and detail of what action is in progress during the exam preparation

  • Hide empty items (rest stations)

  • PE:110 - (compact boolean and drop down) Field type now takes less space on the mark sheet

  • A Start message has been added for video OSCE stations.

• General

  • Support for proctoring

  • Calculator can be disabled

  • Caching of database handle for faster moving between questions, and resource loading speed.

  • iPad scrolling improvements

  • ROSCE now saves your chosen media devices in ROSCE (e.g headset defaults on each station or when you disconnect reconnect)

  • Added bandwidth quality monitoring to ROSCE. A low connection quality pop up will appear on the screen of the person who has the low bandwidth

  • Reloading and refreshing of pages when offline
