Improvements
PRAC-1809 Allow formulae to be edited and inserted in to Practique
In this release we have improved the way that mathematical formulae can be added to questions. We now have an in-built formula editor, which allows Item Authors to either create equations directly, or paste in MathML or Latex expressions. This is supported for all written questions. Demonstration video is included here:
PRAC-1824 Removed I and O from Examiner letter of the day
When Practique generates a letter of the day for OSCE exams, this now no longer includes I or O. This is to avoid confusion with 1 and 0 as part of Examiner IDs
PRAC-1845 Ordering of SBA stems
We have improved the way that Practique orders SBA responses alphanumerically. Answers starting with numbers are now ordered in ascending order.
PRAC-1847 Show Item Type in the Item Set view
Practique now displays the Item Type (SBA, EMQ, VSA) in the Item Set view. This improves Item Set Construction.
PRAC-1850 Add Special Character Insertion to SBA and EMQ answer options
In this release, we have added the ability to easily insert special characters in to SBA and EMQ answer options. Video shown below:
PRAC-1856 CSV/Excel Download for SBA Item Statistics Report
Practique now has an export of the data included in the Item Statistics report. This export gives the 33% Item Discrimination, Point Biserial, Facility and Answer frequencies for SBA questions. The report can be accessed after generating the PDF report in the normal way.
PSD-1374 Default value for Angoff can now be configured
It is now possible for us to set the default Angoff score to something other than 70. Please get in contact with us if you would like to change this.
PRAC-1858 Importing Items with HTML markup (<,>, & etc)
In this release we have added an option when importing Items that allows you to select whether you are importing HTML marked up items (eg with tables, super/subscript) or 'raw' items, with regular text. If importing HTML marked up items, it is not possible to use some special characters. These have to be converted to a particular format. If you would like guidance on this, please contact the team.
Bug fixes
PRAC-1628 Removal of reload page warning when creating SBA or EMQ questions
Previously, when adding multiple SBA or EMQ options, Practique would show a warning when saving the Item. This has now been removed.
PRAC-1693 Exam should have minimum 1 day
Practique now forces exams to default to a minimum of 1 day
PRAC-1830 Do not display Delete/Submit/Clone buttons on edit pages
The Delete, Submit and Clone buttons previously were shown on all pages of an Item. This has now been clarified so that these are only shown on the Item Information page.
PRAC-1226 Inconsistent panel UI in Exam continue preparations screen
The user interface of the Continue Preparing exam screen has been improved, so that the panels appear consistently.
PRAC-1498 Show normalisation value is shown as a decimal number in modal
When normalising items, Practique now shows this value as a decimal value in the pop-up.
PRAC-1815 Session timeout affects P4B users
Previously if a timeout was set for the system, this would also log out P4B users. This has now been fixed so that it does not affect P4B users.
PRAC-1827 XLS import of candidate and examiner allocation fails on numeric ID numbers
When uploading candidates and examiners, if the value of the ID was stored in Excel as Numeric, Practique would not be able to import these. This is now supported.
PRAC-1841 Unable to delete item set
In a previous version, a regression bug was introduced where users were not able to delete draft Item Sets. This has now been fixed.
PRAC-1855 Unable to assign text dimension to an item
In a previous version, where the page design had been updated, we had dropped support for setting text dimensions. This has now been fixed.
PRAC-1864 Restore previous behaviour of OSCE responses export
The export of OSCE responses now correctly gives the text of each of the marking schema selected.
