Application settings

Application settings allows customers to adjust behaviour or security features/settings of the iPad application to their needs. In order to change settings of the Practique iPad application you need to request changes as those need to be performed by our team.

Available configuration

Candidate information display

The iPad can show the candidate's name, ID or both to the Examiner. Depending on your policy for identifying the candidate this can be configured by us. 

Display role player name on Marshal iPad

It is possible to have the role players name showing on the Marshal iPad. We can configure this for you if you wish to display this to the Marshals.

Administrator password

Administrator password is required to perform (usually dangerous) operations when using diagnostic Application information screen. These operations include Disabling the Single Application Mode, Removing non-synchronised data from the iPad and other maintenance features.

Require Single Application Mode

Settings enforces all users of the application to have Single Application Mode enabled otherwise application will refuse user attempt to log in.

Require Configuration profile

Settings ensures that the specified configuration profile is installed on the iPad otherwise refuse user's attempt to log in. This feature allows MDM managers to make sure that the restrictions enforced by the organisation policy via configuration profile are applied on the device.

Allow Examiners to amend mark sheet

Allow examiners to amend their marks after they submitted the mark sheet. By default examiners can not amend marks after they submitted the mark sheet, any amendments must be performed by the exams team staff via Practique server.

Allow Examiners to mark independently

Allows examiners to mark any candidates in their schedule independently while on-line. By default examiners wait for Marshall to advance examination rounds.
