Info
Please note, that if you convert an item of cloned subscribed content from the Haicloud into a subscriber clone of the original item of content, it will it will overwrite any changes that you have no longer be updated with the changes made to the content since initially cloning it, and prevent you from making further changes to the original item of content going forwards, unless you choose to unsubscribe from itresubscribe to the original.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Navigate to the item of cloned subscribed content that you would like to convert into a subscriberclone, to be in synchronisation with the item of content that it was originally cloned from so that are able to edit the content (ensure that you are logged in with the appropriate permissions).
  2. Using the 'Actions' menu on the edit bar, select 'Subscribe to Unsubscribe cloud content' from the drop down menu. If you do not see this option, then the item of content you are intending to subscribe to, is no longer available from the Haicloud service. This is due unsubscribe from, is not currently subscribed to the original item of content being deleted.

  3. When you select this option, the system will ask the Haicloud service to provide the item of content in the current state of the original. The page will reload, and inform you that it has been successful in updating the content from the Haicloud to ensure it is the latest version, as well as subscribing to it so that it will be updated with all future changes made stopping the subscription to the original item of content. 4. As the item of content that you have updated is now a subscriberclone, you will then be able to make limited any edits to the item of content as you see fit (categorisation, exlude from navigation and hide the title), as you normally would on an item of content created on your website. Going forwards all further changes to the original item of content will not be reflected on the cloned item of content that is now subscribed to it, in a short amount of time after the changes are saved on the original item of content.
  5. If you would like to update the subscribing cloned item of content to become a clone subscriber of the original item of content, and stop the subscription, then you will need to follow the instructinos instructions here to convert the item of content from being a subscriberclone, to being a clonesubscriber.
