New Features

  • The exam blueprinting function has been expanded and will now allow users to create a template for their exams which will include all the settings and values that had previously been set at the stage of creating the exam.

The exam blueprint now also requires the user to select only settings that are relevant for the exam type and delivery platform that they choose. When an exam is created, all settings from the blueprint will be inherited, but the user can still edit at this stage if required.

Specific permissions have been created for this function. The user must have Edit Exam Blueprint Settings permission to edit this part of the blueprint. Please talk to the risr/ team to ensure that your permissions are set correctly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you wish to use one of your existing blueprints to create an exam, please access the blueprint to make the changes needed to the exam setting there as this will save you effort going forward. If you do not wish to do this, please check your exam details when you create an exam.

You can find “How to” guide here and further information in the reference document here.

  • There is now an option to make an MWQ part visible only to markers to provide the ability to assign a mark for the MWQ as a whole, rather than at each part. Find documentation here.

  • Examiner Notes have been made available for written items in addition to the existing Marking Notes for Examiners.

Improvements

  • When using the batch functionality to update criteria of a marksheet and the user selects “Create new version of all items and leave in Draft” the system will automatically refresh the specific criterion and any schema updates on the items affected and leave them in draft.

  • A new button has been added to the OSCE marksheet page that updates all obsolete global criteria on the marksheet.

  • A new option has been added to reorder slices alphanumerically if the ZIP file order is not correct.

  • When creating the schedule for an OSCE exam and examiners are scheduled, any examiners already existing in the system, matched on their ID can have new passwords assigned through the upload function.

Fixes

  • Written Responses export fixed for excluded stations.
